Custom Orthotics

People with abnormal arches, mainly flat feet, frequently need a foot orthotic. We make custom foot orthotics for our patients by finding the neutral position of the ankle and taking a cast of the foot. This process will take about 20 minutes and the cast created will be shipped to a company where the actual orthotic is made. It takes approximately 2 – 3 weeks to receive the orthotic.

Anyone can get custom orthotics. It does not require a prescription from a doctor, however, if a prescription is obtained, many insurance companies will cover the cost of the orthotics. The patient can also choose to pay out of pocket for the orthotics with the cost ranging from $75-$125 depending on the type of orthotic that is ordered.
