Our Treatment Approach
Comprehensive Evaluation
Every patient begins with a detailed one-on-one evaluation to assess posture, movement patterns, muscle function, mobility, strength, and symptoms. This allows our therapists to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to each patient’s specific needs and goals.
Patient Education
Education is an important part of recovery. Our therapists help patients understand their condition, contributing factors, body mechanics, and strategies for symptom management to support long-term success and independence.
Manual Therapy Techniques
Hands-on treatment may include myofascial release, trigger point therapy, massage, and joint mobilization to reduce pain, improve mobility, decrease muscle tension, and restore normal tissue function.
Therapeutic Exercise & Core Strengthening
Customized exercise programs focus on improving flexibility, pelvic floor coordination, stability, strength, and core control while progressing safely based on each patient’s condition and activity level.
Postural & Movement Training
Poor posture and movement mechanics can contribute to pelvic dysfunction. Our therapists provide guidance on posture, body mechanics, lifting techniques, breathing patterns, and movement strategies to reduce strain and improve function.
Relaxation & Muscle Re-education
Pelvic floor dysfunction often involves muscle overactivity, weakness, or coordination deficits. Treatment may include relaxation techniques, breathing exercises, and neuromuscular re-education to restore proper muscle function and control.
Activity Modification & Return to Sport
For active individuals and athletes, our therapists provide sport-specific guidance and return-to-activity training to safely resume exercise, recreation, and athletic performance while minimizing symptom recurrence.
Our Pelvic Floor Therapy program is designed to help patients restore function, improve quality of life, and return to everyday activities with greater comfort, confidence, and independence.
